  • 1/4 Cup(s) (1/2 stick) light butter
  • 3/4 Cup(s) unsweetened applesauce or apple butter
  • 1 Egg(s)
  • 2 Tablespoon(s) Skim Milk
  • 2 Teaspoon(s) vanilla
  • 3 Cup(s) Quaker® Oats (quick or old fashioned, uncooked)
  • 3/4 Cup(s) diced dried mixed fruit or raisins

Cooking Instructions

Heat oven to 350°F. Lightly spray cookie sheets with cooking spray. In large bowl, beat sugars and light butter with electric mixer until well blended. Add applesauce, egg, milk and vanilla; beat well. Add combined flour, baking soda, cinnamon, salt and nutmeg; mix well. Stir in oats and dried fruit; mix well. (Dough will be moist Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto cookie sheets, press lightly to flatten. Bake 12 to 14 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheets; remove to wire rack. Cool completely. Store tightly covered.
