Have them crispy or gooey, these cookies are the perfect treat for banana fans. Made with oats, brown sugar, cinnamon spice and a Nutella touch, they are the tastiest gift or treat for sharing over the holidays with those you love.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup margarine, softened
  • 2 each banana, ripe, small, mashed
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 3 cups Quaker® Oats-Quick 1-Minute Oats
  • As needed hazelnut spread

Cooking Instructions

  • In large bowl, beat margarine and sugars until creamy. Add egg, banana, and vanilla. Beat well.
  • In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Add to wet ingredients and mix well.
  • Add oats, mix well. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  • Bake 8 to 9 minutes for a chewy cookie or 10 to 11 minutes for a crisp cookie.
  • Cool 1 minute on cookie sheets; remove to wire rack. Cool completely.
  • Drizzle or spread each cookie with 1-2 teaspoons of Nutella. Serve and enjoy!
