When the holidays roll around it’s time to enjoy Cranberry Eggnog Oatmeal. Let your oatmeal simmer in eggnog for a festive breakfast option you can whip up in no time. This recipe is perfect for Christmas morning and the holiday season.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup light eggnog
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup Quaker® Oats-Old Fashioned (uncooked)
  • 1 tablespoon dried cranberries
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon nutmeg, ground or whole

Cooking Instructions

  • In a small saucepan, bring eggnog and water to a boil.
  • Add oatmeal, stir to combine and reduce heat to medium-low.
  • After about 2 minutes, add cranberries.
  • Cook for 3 minutes more, stirring occasionally until most of the liquid is absorbed.
  • Stir in brown sugar and spoon into a bowl.
  • Sprinkle with nutmeg before serving.
