The Quaker Oats Company, founded in 1901, grew up with America.
The steaming bowl of oatmeal is a breakfast icon that many in this
health-conscious nation have returned to because of its nutritional
value and restorative nature. Quaker is concerned with nutritional
needs and is committed to helping the most vulnerable in our society
that are struggling financially -- infants, children, women who
are pregnant and those that have recently given birth.
Through the government-subsidized WIC program, we are able to provide a supplemental diet for the most needy. We are excited to partner with the WIC program to provide healthy foods for healthy lifestyles.
In an effort to educate the WIC community
on healthful options we have created a recipe book using our WIC
eligible products.
