We offer summer internships for both undergraduate and graduate students. Internships provide you the chance to experience Quaker, a unit of PepsiCo Beverages & Foods, firsthand by spending 10 to 12 weeks at either our headquarters in Chicago or one of our field locations throughout the United States.


10 to 12 week summer internships are available to undergraduate students in the following functions at Quaker:
Accounting - positions are located in Chicago.
Logistics - positions are located in Chicago and at our field
locations throughout the United States.
Supply Chain Management - positions are located at our field
locations throughout the United States.

1. Are Quaker’s internships paid?
Typically, all of Quaker’s internships are paid, although it is possible that you will not be paid if you are receiving
academic credit for your internship.

2. Are there social and developmental activities planned for Quaker’s undergraduate interns?
In addition to your work experience, you will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of social and
developmental activities. Highlights of the Summer Internship Program include:

"Quaker at Noon" lunches - Senior managers joined the interns for lunch and discussed items such as marketing, supply chain management and diversity at Quaker.
"Intern Development Weekend" - Three day event in Chicago in which interns participate in developmental workshops on topics such as "Change Management", compete for prizes in a case competition and interact with Quaker’s senior management and interns from around the country.

10 to 12 week summer internships are available to first-year MBA students in the following functions at Quaker:
Marketing/Brand Management
Marketing Research
Finance

Marketing interns will have the opportunity to work on one of the following teams:

Quaker Beverages: The Beverages group is responsible for the equity development and product offerings of Gatorade Thirst Quencher through advertising, promotions/sponsorships, flavor introductions and package development.
Ready to Eat Cereals: The Ready to Eat Cereals group comprises six marketing-driven business teams that support Cap’n Crunch, Life, Adult, Mother’s Natural Cereals and New Products.
Hot Cereals: The Hot Cereals group comprises four marketing-driven business teams that support Kid & Adult Targeted Oatmeal, Aunt Jemima Syrup & Mixes, Regional Grains and New Products.

In addition to your work experience, you will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of developmental and social activities. Highlights of the 2001 Summer Internship Program included:
