Quaker Rice Cakes - Lightly Salted is rated 4.5897 out of 5 by 39.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Favorite Gluten Free Snack Quaker rice cakes have been a favorite in our home for a very long time. When I recently had to switch to a gluten free diet for health reasons, I was comforted by the fact that I would not have to give up my rice cakes!! From breakfast to dinner, I have been able to enjoy a gluten free diet without giving up on favorite dishes. The lightly salted make a great base for Philly cheesesteaks, the white cheddar make great breakfast open faced sandwiches with an egg and Canadian bacon and my husband concocted a "donut" from the apple cinnamon variety with a spread of peanut butter, cream cheese and figs topped with toasted almond slivers. The only improvement would be to create more flavors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everyday part of my lunch routine. I buy these often at the supermarket to take along with me to work everyday as a healthy snack or starch alternative in my lunch. It is much more convenient than preparing and storing cooked rice. They taste delicious! Just like popcorn without the butter. I have a very demanding work schedule and sometimes I am unable to pull away to grab meal; but I just reach down into my bag and tear open a block of these rice cakes...they give me the quick burst of energy I need without feeling guilty about calories or fat. I haven't eaten potato chips in over a year since I started these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It lowered my chloresterol Have had trouble getting my chloresterol down. It was in the 300's. Took medication for awhile, but that only got it down to 279. Tried other things like niacin and fish oil and flax seed, in different amounts, but it still didn't lower it any lower. I didn't want to remain on medication,so I did some research of what else could help. I saw a article taking about eating oatmeal is a larger amount and I gave it try. Within one week, my chloresterol was down by 50 points. Woow! Wonderful. I've stayed with eating the larger portion each day and now my chloresterol is below 200. I'm so glad that I did more research and gave this a try.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I am absolutely addicted!! While I have found other flavors to be too sweet, the Lightly Salted Rice Cakes are perfection. I actually crave them. They have just the right hint of salt and are always nice and crunchy and I find it impossible to not eat all 7 at the same meal when I tear open the inside pack. (oh, who am I kidding, I can easily eat all 14!) It's a running joke with my friends just how obsessed I am with this product. I go through 7-10 bags a week. No other brand comes even close to replicating the perfection that is this rice cake!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Snowing! I really enjoy the flavor of the white cheddar rice cakes. Great strong cheddar and onion nodes, but the seasoning needs a better sticking agent to the base. I'm halfway though my bag, and will have to consider my clothing before I enjoy this tasty snack. Not really something one can eat when wearing black. I looked like I just walked in from a winter snow with all the powder on me.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Tastee but Healthy? I received your caramel, cheddar cheese and sour cream and onion rice cakes free to sample through BzzAgents. The caramel was clearly the favorite with the children with the cheddar cheese coming in second. The adults liked the sour cream and onions. However, just because they are "glutton free" doesn't make them the healthiest snack out there. Read the labels! I would definitely buy these for my family but only in moderation. thank you for the free products Quaker! I would recommend to a friend instead of chips but only for that reason.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from can they be frozen? We spend the winter in a small Mexican village and unable to purchase ricecakes. I am hoping to take along several packages since they provide a greatappy snack with cream cheese and pepper jelly. I am hoping to put some in our small RV freezer but not sure how they will be after a few weeks. Perhaps someone can advise. Thanks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from White cheddar horrible aftertaste I do love the rice cakes, I am always buying them for myself and my younger sister. I recently bought the white cheddar ones and they do taste good at first, but after chewing for a few seconds the rice cake tastes horrible. I couldn't even eat a full one :( I did rate 5 stars just because I do love the other flavors.
