Rated 4 out of 5 by from I really like it! I have been hooked on Trader Joe's oatmeal, but it's not always convenient to get there, so I decided to try this as an alternative. I did not find it to have an artificial sweetener taste like other reviewers. Compared to the lower sugar Quaker Oatmeal, which I have been eating also, I thought it tasted much better, did not have the same artificial sweetener taste, and is much more filling. I was also pleased with the nutritional content. It is a little mushy, but I like my oatmeal that way so that's ok with me! My only complaint is that I can't find it in many stores around where I live.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not as good as I expected I was so glad to see that there was an organic option for this oatmeal. But unfortunately, the texture was mushy and I could not detect a maple flavoring- just sweet. In fact, I had to look at the ingredients to be sure there wasn't artificial sweetener, because that's what it tasted like to me! But thank you, Quaker, for jumping in with better ingredients!! Keep it up!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too mushy Thought I would like it because it's organic and I expected more of a "real" oatmeal texture but it is VERY mushy like the protein instant oatmeal. I prefer the regular packets of instant over this just because of the texture. I don't know why they are mushy lately?

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Natural Flavor Seems like it's lacking the oatmeal part? Tasted like sweetened oatmeal. Was wondering where the maple flavor is? Can't seem to find any verbiage as to what natural flavoring is, and if that is organic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Work I was very excited to see my favorite oatmeal available as organic. It is delicious! It seems as though there is more of a brown sugar flavor and less of a maple flavor than with the non-organic maple and brown sugar, but it is still so good, I love it. I hope Quaker continues to bring out more organic flavors!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Mushy After eating the High Fiber version this one was a real let down. It was just plain mushy, no texture to it. The taste was kind of bland and not as good as the high fiber version. The reason I chose this one is I was looking for a lower sodium option. Please make a low sodium- low sugar option.

Very tasty! Thank you for jumping on board with organic options. Will Organic Apples N Cinnamon be an option in the future?!?!

Hot Water or Milk Preparation

  1. Empty packet into bowl.
  2. Add up to 1/2 cup hot milk or boiling water, stir.
  3. Let sit for 60 seconds.

For thicker oatmeal, use less water or milk.
For 2 packets: Empty packets into bowl. Add 1 cup hot milk or boiling water; stir.

Microwave Preparation (1 Serving)

  1. Empty packet into microwave-safe bowl.
  2. Add up to 2/3 cup unheated milk or water; stir.
    For your convenience, you can use the packet as a measuring cup.
  3. Microwave on HIGH 1 to 2 minutes; stir again.

For thicker oatmeal, use less water or milk.
For 2 packets: Use 1-1/3 cups water or milk and microwave for 2 to 3 minutes.

Caution: Bowl and contents may be hot. Microwave ovens vary in power. Cooking time may need to be adjusted.
