My entire family loves the cinnamon and spice flavor especially in this pack, so it is very frustrating that there are only 2 packets of it in each box while there are 4 packets of each of the other two flavors. My grocery store doesn't carry the cinnamon and spice flavor specifically. Why are there only 2 packets of the cinnamon spice flavor but 4 of maple and brown sugar and apple cinnamon?

I NEVER used to like oatmeal, but the variety pack was on sale, so I tried the lower sugar version, and fell in love with the low sugar cinnamon spice. I couldn't tell that it was lower in sugar. I was disappointed to find only 2 packets of it in the box, yet there seemed like an endless supply of the other two flavors, which are not good at all to me. Not one to waste food, I gave the other flavors away at work, and searched for the lower sugar cinnamon spice in it's own box, but guess what? Quaker doesn't provide that, so thanks for nothing. I also had to tell an old lady at the supermarket that they don't make it. She too, was disappointed. I actually like the Cinnamon Roll and Cinnamon Swirl flavors, but again no lower sugar version. The High Fiber version is pretty good as well, but always more expensive. My big question here is "Hey Quaker: Why do you need to pour all of this unnecessary sugar into my breakfast??? And please don't switch real sugar for that fake junk. A little of the real stuff goes a long way. If I want more sugar, I'll add it myself. I just can't take it out once you've dumped a ton of it in."

Rated 5 out of 5 by from THANK YOU! Thank you so much, Quaker Oats!! I've always loved the regular flavors, but because I avoid sugar as much as possible, I didn't always feel good about eating them. I really enjoy that the oaty flavor comes out more in this product, and it's much healthier! Congrats for putting out one of the first products I've ever seen in America which takes out sugar without trying to substitute it with something else. I would be so happy to see more low-sugar products in the grocery store.

Hot Water or Milk Preparation

  1. Empty packet into bowl.
  2. Add up to 1/2 cup hot milk or boiling water, stir.
  3. Let sit for 60 seconds.

Microwave Preparation (1 Serving)

  1. Empty packet into microwave-safe bowl.
  2. Add up to 2/3 cup unheated milk or water; stir.
    For your convenience, you can use the packet measuring cup.
  3. Microwave on HIGH 1 to 2 minutes; stir again.

Caution: Bowl and contents may be hot. Microwave ovens vary in power. Cooking time may need to be adjusted.
