Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brought back the great original Maple Brown Sugar! For my entire life, I had enjoyed eating Quaker Maple Brown Sugar instant oatmeal. About 4 or 5 years ago, when Quaker changed the formula of their instant maple brown sugar oatmeal (to what tasted like burned wood), I switched to generic oatmeals that were also disappointing. When I started seeing the Quaker "classic Maple Brown Sugar" appear back on the grocery store shelves, I bought every box I could find, not sure if it had permanently returned. The Quaker classic Maple Brown Sugar is by far the best tasting oatmeal ever made, and quite possibly the best tasting cereal. I cannot thank Quaker enough for bringing back this classic flavor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I loved eating it for breakfast! The variety pack I bought 10 boxes of was the variety pack that had the flavors-maple & brown sugar,cinnamon & spice and apples & cinnamon. The maple & brown sugar could have more flavor to it. I felt that the maple & brown sugar flavor was very subtle. If it wasn't for the name, I probably wouldn't of ever guessed this flavor so on a scale of a 1 to 10 with 10 being excellent, I'd give the maple & brown sugar a 3. The other 2 flavors that were in the variety pack were cinnamon & spice and apples & cinnamon. On a scale on 1 to 10 with 10 being excellent, do give these 2 flavor packs a 10. I liked the flavor and they were great tastings. Overall, all 3 flavor packs filled me up when I was hungry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from my whole family loves it The instant oatmeal is used in my household all the time. We not only use it for breakfast but lunch at times. My husband takes it to work with him also.Then there are times when coming out of the cold, we want something quick and hot and there comes the oatmeal. It.s great at night if we desire a midnight snack instead of sweets. It's not only nutritional but the oatmeal does taste good. We have tried all flavors. I have nine grandchildren and both my daughters use the oatmeal. You are never to young or old to try oatmeal. My family has introduced oatmeal to the children as young as six months old. Quaker Oats is one which I would recommend to anyone.

I have enjoyed each of these flavors from the Maple & Brown Sugar that tastes just like delicious pancakes, the bonus, a real calorie saver, what a treat at any time of the day!Apples and Cinnamon, anyone who enjoys apple crisp has to Love this flavor, a real Blast to the taste buds!The Cinnamon & Spice is a deep flavor that will warm anyone at anytime of day, and remind one of cookies fresh from the oven, yum!

I fix a 3 packet bowl of maple & brown sugar for myself just about daily for me and my dog Maggie. She gives it 2 Paws up. She has to eat it for breakfast because she is allergic to corn & wheat so I'm limited to what to feed her.My big problem is unless I can catch it on sale somewhere it gets very expensive. So could you please send me some coupons because I buy at least a couple of cases at a time when it's on sale. Rated 5 out of 5 by from The taste of home As a child, my mom used to cook my siblings and I old fashion Quaker oat meal, for breakfast every morning, We never got tired of eating it, sometimes when we had fruit such as berries or bananas, she would put some in our oatmeal to give it a boost of taste, also my older sister ,used to make us oatmealcookies, which we loved, .My mom would also put Quaker oats in her meatloaf, instead of bread crumbs, it made for a great filler and added flavor,for a great taste. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Instant oatmeal Well friends, Oatmeal is not all the same. You can have instant in a matter of a minute or two. However it will nourish you, but, the oatmeal is watery at best. You can usually just add some sweetener of your choice and you can eat it. If you want the very best the buy the extra thick old fashioned Oatmeal. Start with cold water and bring to a boil and cook it slowly for about 4 or 5 minutes. Your Oatmeal will become thick & Mushy. Then just add sweetener like honey and eat it with Peanut Butter on wheat toast. That is the best and it sticks to your ribs and last most of the day. You have my permission to pass this one to your loved ones on how to make the best Oat Meal around.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Weight Control instant oatmeal We LOVE the Cinnamon Weight Control ONLY and cannot get it alone. We do not like the other two flavors in the variety pack. Please let me know if it can be purchased anywhere.

Hot Water or Milk Preparation

  2. Add up to 1/2 cup hot milk or boiling water, stir.
  3. Let sit for 60 seconds.

Microwave Preparation (1 Serving)

  1. Empty packet into microwave-safe bowl.
  2. Add up to 2/3 cup unheated milk or water; stir.
    For your convenience, you can use the packet measuring cup.
  3. Microwave on HIGH 1 to 2 minutes; stir again.

Caution: Bowl and contents may be hot. Microwave ovens vary in power. Cooking time may need to be adjusted.
