Rated 5 out of 5 by from So glad it's back! I grew up on M&BS instant oatmeal. I are it practically every day! I was so upset when you changed the recipe because it tasted awful. Then I found the classic recipe and was so happy- only to have it disappear again! Stopped looking for it and it has been a long time since I've eaten oatmeal. My parents visited from Florida and shopped for us. They bought M&BS and I didn't even look at the package until they left. I assumed it was the "new" recipe. Today, I was going to bring the box to work to see if anyone wanted it and saw that it said classic recipe. I was so happy!! I immediately texted my husband at work! Lol! Thank you so much for bringing the original recipe back! Please keep it!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from you changed it again Quaker has changed the taste of the Maple & Brown sugar twice in the last 5-6 years. this time it's way not for the better. I wish they would leave it alone, now it's called classic and it really isn't. go back to the earlier recipe and stop playing with it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from WAY TOO SWEET I enjoy the flavor of Maple brown sugar but this is so sweet I'll be a diabetic by the time I finish this box. Could you not put the sugar on the side or use a lot less sugar. People can always add more sugar if they wish but we can't take it away. Also the regular instant oatmeal packets do not taste nearly as good as the big bag and I have tried to mix them together but the problem is that there is 30 Maple and brown sugar and only 15 or less regular. I need 2 regular packets per 1 maple brown sugar to make it eatable. Also 1 packet is very small. I guess its okay for little children though. Overall a convenient breakfast but please cut back on the sugar by 80-90%.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Tastes different :/ I really liked this oatmeal, but the box that I bought last week tastes so bad :( It's not nice and sweet anymore, it doesn't have the nice maple-y taste that I loved. Also, the texture doesn't feel satisfying anymore, it feels like mush. Is there a reason for this? I'm really upset because it was my favorite :(

Rated 1 out of 5 by from What is going on?! Maybe I'm late, but I loved the Maple & Brown Sugar oatmeal (original, not that lower sugar or extra fiber) and had recently finished an old warehouse box size at home. I go to buy a box from Target and noticed it said Classic Recipe and figured this was what I usually get and it is horrible! I see many reviews on this site as well as on Amazon about changing the recipe. I'm not sure why you changed, but it really is a product that I will no longer purchase if it stays like this. I'm sure I'm not alone.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Heart healthy killed the taste The last box I bought was labeled "heart healthy". It might be, but you KILLED the flavor. I ended up giving it to our local homeless shelter. To say the least, you lost a customer and I won't be buying it again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worms While I have always bought this oatmeal and had no issues before, I opened up a packet and went to crush the larger chunks of sugar with my spoon when I noticed a living WORM! I moved it around and found several more! I checked the date to make sure it wasn't expired and it was supposed to be good til August 2015. I also checked to make sure there weren't any holes for them to get into the bag (which there weren't), and realized they must have been packaged in. I won't be buying any oatmeal for a VERY long time!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from WAY TOO MUCH SUGAR!! I love oatmeal for breakfast usually slow cook mine in 1% milk with a small amount of evaporated milk. It tastes rich and creamy. I decided to try the instant packages and they were horribly sweet at 29-34 grams of sugar per serving!! This is like drinking a 12 oz. can of Coke (39g) or 3 Krispy Creme donuts (30g) or a serving of yogourt with fruit (25g). Quaker, YOU CAN AND MUST do better to help us make healthy choices.
