Rated 5 out of 5 by from The very best Im having to use a powrchair and had to lose 40 pounds for surgery so i had to somehow get used to Oatmeal without butter n sugar. I found these 2 bags of instant Oatmeal and was so please. They are not like the little pouches you can make real servings ans the texture is like the original and the volumne has weight. I found myself craving it when i woke up. I lost the weight in 3 months eating this for breakfast 4xs a week. I was so disappointed to find my local Market had discontinued it....I cant travel too far from home so decided to finally look to purchase online then seen i can leave a review so it cant pass that up. thanks for this product it very good and helped me so much.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Too much sugar I love that Quaker has High Fiber Instant Oatmeal but it is WAY too sweet. When I checked the ingredients and nutrition facts, I found that SUGAR is the 3rd ingredient and each packet contains 7 GRAMS of SUGAR. I'm trying to add a lot of fiber to my diet to help keep my cholesterol down; consuming 2 packets a day would give me an awesome 20 GRAMS of FIBER which is why I want it. Why can't you make an instant oatmeal that is both high in fiber and low in added sugar? I'd prefer not to trade high cholesterol for diabetes... and I think it would taste a lot better too!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I do not like it! I was not aware that Quaker Oats had changed the ingredients in their High Fiber Instant Oatmeal - Maple and Brown Sugar cereal. First bite of the latest package I bought alerted me to a change in taste and texture which disappointed me greatly. I have been using this brand/named product for years as a way to increase my dietary fiber. Now I will forgo using Quaker's High Fiber Oatmeal. Part of maintaining a healthier diet for the long haul is actually enjoying something that is good for you. I do not enjoy this version of your High Fiber Oatmeal and do not plan to eat any more of it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from There's been a recent change? I buy the Cinnamon Swirl flavor in the 18 pack boxes through Amazon. The last several purchases have seemed to have a totally different consistency and a rather obnoxious flavor. It's odd enough that I usually cannot finish the bowl. What has changed? I've been eating this product for several years now and loved it. Will it be changed back like the Maple and Brown sugar has been? I'd like to know before I start looking for another oatmeal product. Thank you.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Much too sweet I like the idea of a high fiber instant oatmeal. I do not like the high sugar content and overly sweet taste. I also tried the cinnamon swirl with the same result.Would you consider a plain high fiber instant oatmeal?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What I look forward to most in the morning! Growing up, I was never a huge fan of oatmeal. I found it rather boring and tasteless. In my early twenties, someone suggested I try the Maple and Brown Sugar flavor and I thought this is alright for every once in a while, but then I discovered the High Fiber version of this flavor and I've been hooked ever since! I hope you continue to keep making this delicious flavor and if at all possible, sell it in a higher quantity, cause I will buy it!

Hot Water or Milk Preparation

  3. Let sit for 60 seconds.

Microwave Preparation (1 Serving)

  1. Empty packet into microwave-safe bowl.
  2. Add up to 2/3 cup unheated milk or water; stir.
    For your convenience, you can use the packet measuring cup.
  3. Microwave on HIGH 1 to 2 minutes; stir again.
