Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product, packaging disaster! I have been a fan of Life Cereal since it was introduced. For the past several years I have been happy to purchase the 62oz double-bag package. This is efficient, resource saving packaging. I just found that packaging has been replaced by a 54oz three-box shrink-wrapped package. Three complete cardboard boxes instead of one! Plus two more sheets of cardboard separating the boxes! Three thin plastic bags instead of the two more durable bags! Less product! The single box had carry slots so you could pick it up, whereas the 3-pack is covered with slippery shrinkwrap and is difficult to pick up! Someone in the marketing department should review this terrible idea and reintroduce the 62oz double pack.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Please no artificial colors! Our family loves Life Cereal. It is the once cereal that ALL 5 of my children can agree belongs in the shopping cart! But it recently came to my attention that this delicious cereal has Red 40, Yellow 5 and Blue 1 artificial colors! Why is this necessary? Can't you achieve an attractive "wheat" color without these?? I try to avoid artificial colors in our diet and especially in what we eat to start our day!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Full of Artificial Color! I used to love Life as a kid, and even as an adult. That is, until I read the list of ingredients. Why do you put Yellow #5 and Yellow #6 in your cereal? It would look just fine without it. My family does not need artificial colors and neither does anybody else. I do not buy Life any more, and I tell all of my friends and family to avoid it as well.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good, could be better I really enjoy the taste of Life cereal. The main ingredient being whole grain oat flour is a big perk for me, too. Unfortunately, it has artificial coloring yellow 5 and 6. I don't actually understand why this is necessary. Other cereals with similar ingredients look great without artificial food coloring.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Who needs food dye? I used to feed Life cereal to my kids on a regular basis. Imagine my surprise when I read the ingredient list and realized there is artificial food dye in it! I would expect that I'm something like Fruit Loops, not Life Cereal.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Please remove the artificial dyes. We (consumers) can handle our cereal not looking quite as pretty... its freaking cereal, not a fashion statement. Please remove the dyes - this cereal is really good. It's too bad because everyone in my family likes it, but we won't buy it again until the dyes are gone.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Almost great This cereal seems like it's marketed as a wholesome "natural" cereal but it has just a few too many unnatural ingredients like BHT and dyes. I also think that it's a little too sweet.
