Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice and Crispy....loved these! I don't usually like oatmeal cookies but I really needed to use up this oatmeal so I thought I would give these a try. So good! I added some craisins, walnuts and chocolate chips. Not overly spicey (which is what I didn't like about some I've tried in the past). Crisp yumminess!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from taste dry unflavorful. The cookies didn't have much flavor and I followed the recipe exactly even cooked 8 minutes so they wouldn't be dry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy, Quick, Delicious I had an irresistible craving for oatmeal cookies and found this recipe. I had the ingredients on hand, EASY. The recipe is simple, basically three steps, QUICK. The cookies are very soft until cooled, even sinking through my rack before I covered it with waxed paper. After cooling, they are the perfect balance of crunchy and chewy, rich and sweet, lightly spiced, DELICIOUS!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Oatmeal Cookie Recipe Of Them All! I make these every year and always manage to talk someone who doesn't like oatmeal cookies into trying them and you know what, I have converted a nice group of people into liking these. The key ingredient is the nutmeg. That one ingredient completely makes this recipe. Instead of raisins I also use dry cranberries.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow! This Ain't Yo Momma's Dry Recipe These cookies reminded me of those little debbie oatmeal pies I used to beg to have in my lunch bag as a kid. My husband can't stand oatmeal cookies but he loved these. Total keeper recipe!
