  • 1 cup Quaker® Yellow or White Corn Meal
  • 1 cup cold water 
  • 1 3/4 cups chicken broth (one 13 to 14 oz can)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan or Romano cheese

Cooking Instructions

Mix corn meal with 1 cup cold water. In a 4 qt. saucepan, bring broth, 1 cup water and salt to boiling. Gradually stir corn meal mixture into boiling liquid. Cook 5 minutes over medium heat, stirring constantly. Stir in grated cheese. Cook, uncovered, over low heat about 5 minutes or until cheese is completely melted, stirring occasionally. Serve hot.
