Reviews & Ratings
Quaker Yellow Corn Meal is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from decent ingredient for cornbread/pizza. Cornbread? No brainer... but pizza? Yes! After I create my whole wheat pizza dough, I always use corn meal instead of flour to hand stretch my pie, to perfection ;)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love it! I have been eating Quaker Yellow Corn Meal all of my life. I grew up on it and when I started my own family, Quaker Yellow Corn Meal was definitely the way to go. I have tried other corn meals but they were too yellow and too finely ground for my liking. This product has been a main staple in my life for over half a century. I am glad to know that it is around for the younger members of my family to enjoy. Good quality products are a must nowadays.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally Found It Again! I make cornbread for therapy as well as for supper. Nothing says home to me like the fragrance of hot bacon grease in the skillet when I pour in the cornbread batter. Several years ago the stores around our rural area stopped stocking Quakers and I tried every brand I could find. All of them were ground fine like flour, not gritty like corn meal. Finally a few weeks ago I noticed the Ingles in Thomaston, GA, had my old brand. I bought two boxes and sure enough my light-crusty-with a gritty crunch--cornbread was back!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it fried. I have eaten and used Quaker products all my life(79yrs) old. I haven't been able to find the yellow cornmeal in my grocery store for a few years now. Would love to know where I can get the can of cornmeal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Makes real southern cornbread!!!! This is the perfect corn meal to make spoon bread, corn bread, and fried seafood. I wish I could find it in my local stores in N.C.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Used By Mom And Now By Me This yellow and blue box was used in so many ways by my mom which I now use myself. A smooth creamy bowl of porridge made from this corn meal would warm us up in the morning. At Sunday dinner it would be transformed into a fluffy, golden brown cornbread or corn muffins. And on Friday night it would become the crunchy coating for our weekly fish fry. A very versatile product which has lasted throughout the years having proven itself over and over.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Cornbread My mom used Quaker Corn meal for 50 years....She's now 83. I have been using it since I established my own home, my oldest is 25 years old. I have tried other corn meals and they never compare to Quakers corn meal. My corn bread always comes out perfectly. My youngest son is a chef..and he recommends Quaker.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Old favorite which is hard to find I used to make the Quaker cornbread recipe all the time when I lived in New York 40 years ago. Now I'm in the West and can't find Quaker cornmeal in the grocery stores. Other cornmeals are too coarse and cornbread falls apart. What happened to good ole Quaker?
